How to create the Elizabethan Height 

Step 1: Using the crimpers start to crimp the hair making sure you get all of the root the the end, in even sections.

Step 2: after the hair is all crimped, half the hair then make a section in one half from parting to ear. Start from the bottom and back comb using a comb and then work your way to the top

Step 3: Curve the hair over creating a poof like mouse ear and secure it with grips.

Creating the poof the other way we have used a prop (rat) which was created using nude tights which has been stuffed with tissue. 

Step 1: section the hair from part to ear, the section it again from the start of the ear to the part and french braid it and secure it this will be an anchor for the prop. 

Step 2: Clip down the prop and and secure it with clips. 

Step 3: Smooth the hair over the prop and tuck it under, make sure you secure the hair with grips.

The finale look you can tell the difference in shapes, the left side is the backcombing and the right side is the prop. I like the left side better as it has more shape to it, this is what I want to use in my final look. If could have done the right side better by adding backcombing to it but I was just practcing different ideas.
