This is a practice of spiral curls on my flat mates hair, her hair is so long it took a while to curl, I really loved the way it went so well in her hair with her highlights. Doing a spiral curl is holding the Curling wand horizontally and wrapping the curl around the wand while still holding it up horizontally. Making sure you don't leave the hair on the wand too long as you don't want to burn the hair. You could use heating spray on the hair to keep it from being damaged from the heat. Afterward using hairspray on the hair to hold in the curls.
Horizontal Curls
I found this hard to do, I done this on the Katy Head in class and I couldn't seem to get the hang of the how to curl the hair horizontally. I am a bit embarrassed to put these pictures up but practice makes perfect and I am still learning.
Next time I will have a better go at doing these curls as I know I can do better, Next time I will use the pin curl technique in my friends hair to keep the pin curls in.
