My Contemporary Elizabethan look

My Contemporary Elizabethan look.

I have chosen this image for my contemporary hairstyle, it caught my eye as two braids have been  a big trend this summer so I thought this could be a good contemporary and 'In Now' look.

Double french braids / french braided pig tails:

Step 1
I had sectioned the hair right down the centre parting.
Step 2
I started on one of the sections and began a dutch plait down the hair and came to a stop 1/4 away from the bottom hair line and secured the bottom with clips, I then repeated the plait in the other section.

Step 3
I started crimping the bottom of the hair that was left out of the plaits starting with small sections and from the bottom of the hair.

I would like to re-do this look as I think it would look good if I crimped all the hair first then done the two braids in the crimped hair but still with hair the hair out. But here are some inspirational images that made me want to go that extra step further.

Love this, need a micro crimper!:
